Well, we're about to sell our house in Southern California and some hard decisions are being made. No decisions are tougher than letting loose of some of my favorite movie posters...and this is certainly one of those. It's an insert (14 X 36") from INVASION OF THE SAUCER-MEN, the ultimate Little Green Men graphic from the fabulous Fifties. The creatures were made by the criminally underpaid monster maker Paul Blaisdell, who also crafted creepy crawlers from THE SHE CREATURE, IT CONQUERED THE WORLD, THE DAY THE WORLD ENDED. The artwork on this beauty was done by American International Pictures (AIP) art director Albert Kallis. It's an iconic piece of memorabilia for monster kids of all ages.It's been lovingly paperbacked by one the best in the business. The paperbacking process has rendered the piece stable and made the original fold lines almost invisible. (Check out the close-up hi-def photos.) It was have to be sent in a very large, super reinforced package, hence the high shipping cost. This image rocks in a frame. (Although...in the interest of full disclosure the frame does to come with the poster. Shipping framed posters is usually a recipe for disaster.) You're gonna love this much sought-after poster. Also note that the defects in the corners that look like paper loss are in fact part of the printing process. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: EXCELLENT.
