Warner Brothers Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster (27x41). Linen-Backed. Very Fine Condition. Warner Brothers Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Howard Hawks directed western RIO BRAVO (1959), starring John Wayne, Dean Martin, Rick Nelson, Ward Bond, Angie Dickinson, Walter Brennan, John Russell, and Pedro Gonzalez Gonzalez. This very entertaining movie was the template for several John Wayne films that came after it. Wayne plays the sheriff in a town menaced by gunfighters. Dean Martin plays his deputy with a bad drinking problem. Rick Nelson is a green behind the ears deputy, who adds a little youth to the whole thing. And Angie Dickinson is the dance hall girl that is trying to rope the sheriff. All these seem to be stock characters now, but they were not so much in 1959. And their fates are all stitched together in a great screenplay by Jules Furthman and Leigh Brackett. But of course other great star of the film is Howard Hawks, one of the great Hollywood masters. Drop in a great score by Dimitri Tiomkin and you have RIO BRAVO. The one-sheet is in graded in very fine condition and has been nicely linen-backed. Original Warner Brothers One Sheet Movie Theatre Poster (40x60 inches) for the Michael Wadleigh iconic rock documentary, WOODSTOCK (1970). Poster shows sole signs of age and wear. Is made of thick, durable stock paper. Considered by many critics to be the best music documentary of all time, others consider it to be one of the very best documentaries ever filmed on any subject.
